Payroll Matters® Franchising Opportunities

Richard Krasnow, company founder, knows about payroll services. He "checked in" to the business in 1973, when he first put together a comprehensive payroll program that would serve as the basis for the proprietary software that today helps define the Payroll Matters® concept.

He brought programming expertise to the payroll service industry. After five years as an employee of a payroll company based in the Attleboro, MA area, he moved to New Hampshire and found DataRite, Inc., the predecessor to the Payroll Matters®. Richard set himself apart by establishing more realistic financial points of entry for its clients, by lowering minimum rates and lowering per-check fees.

An initial stumbling block for small companies wanting to use a payroll service was the seemingly high rates being charged by the market. Richard established lower rates, lower per check fees, and suddenly, the small business market began to take off.

The business expanded rapidly throughout New Hampshire and into the remaining New England States. Richard teamed up with experts from other payroll services to broaden the scope and base of the company, and eventually the Payroll Matters® concept took hold in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, California, New York, Florida, and other states..

As the company and concept expanded, part of what drove its success was the never wavering commitment to be accessible to clients. A local company became national, but never forgot its local roots.

That's the Payroll Matters® difference – local in the importance it places on customer loyalty and service, but national in size and resources. Small enough to know you! Large enough to serve you well!

Top-notch service provided by experienced people you can trust, who are commited to honesty, integrity, and hard work. That's the Payroll Matters® difference. We'd love to tell you more!
